A lighter style of gewürztraminer with delicate aromas of lychee, orange and apricot fruit. It is lightweight yet...

I’m very accustomed to this type of wine presenting itself as sweet and full – I was surprised at how dry this is. Unmistakably lean, this vino carries slight orange aromas, scents of chemical and less acidity on the palate than others. For a grape whose characteristics are mildly spicy, the melon flavor on the palate is weird.
A different take on a normally fuller wine. Tasted 23-Oct-2010 at the winery.
