This wine is luscious with layers and layers of dark red fruit. Not your one dimensional Aussie fruit bomb - the complexity demands one savour it. I bought 3 - tried the one and am letting the other two evolve for a couple to three years. Its an essentially hot climate wine so I doubt there would be anything to gain by letting it age longer. Great with any red meat dish. Its a real treat both intrinsically and because it exceeds expectations.

This great Shiraz walk a fine line between rich fruits and oak flavours, without going into the jammy characteristic. On the nose; blackberry, cherry and vanilla coke. Medium to full body, with balance acidity and velvet mouth feel. The finish is smooth with long concentrated dark fruit flavours. This is definitely a great value. Yummy

You’ll have to move quickly if you want to get your hands on a bottle of this full-bodied Aussie gem. Port-like qualities here: thick, rich, and concentrated. Black fruit on the nose and lots of cocoa as it flows across the palate. At $24, this is underpriced. Decant 1-2 hours before serving. (Northof9finewine, Feb 2011)
