Medium amber colour. Intense nose of fig, brown sugar, marzipan and antiqued wood. The palate is dry, and beautifully balanced. Flavours of roasted, smoky nuts. The finish is long-lived with a savoury, lighter soy sauce note. Would pair wonderfully with savoury styles of Asian fare. Mar 2011.
