Mainly Grenache and Syrah that was aged in concrete tanks, this has a medium-to-medium+ intensity nose that's spicy and dark fruited with dark plum, peppery spice, blackberry, and toasty aromas. On the medium-to-medium-full bodied palate it has delicious, spicy, dark fruited replays. It's supported by juicy acidity and supple, fine-grained tannins with good structure. A touch warm on the mid-palate. Very good length on the juicy finish. Tasted July 2023. Score: 88+ pts

Certainly mature, but by no means over the hill. Good ripe fruit, balanced, with hints of herbs and pepper. Relatively simply but spot on and pleasurable, Drink in the near term. Tasted Nov 2024.
