Appealing tart wild berry, briary, currant, tart dark red cherry, cranberry, and currant aromas with leafy touches and ripe candied fruit rise out of the glass with generous intensity. On the dry, medium+ to medium-full bodied palate it has very nice tart sour cherry, cranberry, and red currant flavours nuanced with subtle smoky oak and peppery spice flavours. It has very good, well-balanced acidity, alongside light and textured tannins. The long, balanced finish has sour and tart cherries, cranberry, and currant notes. Tasty and very satisfying. Tasted May 2024.
