I couldn't help but notice the strong aroma of cured meat emanating from the glass. The scent was reminiscent of a pork shop, accompanied by notes of black fruits, bell pepper, and menthol. After 90 minutes, I also detected hints of dried herbs and ash. Interestingly, the gamey aromas made the wine seem more Rhone-like than Cab.- April 2024
