Lovely Chianti Classico here. Authentic Sangiovese character, without need to over-wood a fine wine to make it taste more Bordeaux-like. Joyous stuff here. Drinking well now, but now Rush I should think. Tasted May 2024.

Mainly Sangiovese with about 10% each Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this organic wine has a medium intensity nose of cherry, currant, clove, and herbal aromas. It's medium-full bodied, dry, concentrated, and ripe with candied cherry, clove, vanilla, and wood spice flavours. It has juicy, balanced acidity, refined tannins, and very good length on the finish. Tasted May 2022.
