What a great value at $17.95, a little gem to consider as a short term cellar stocker. It is authentically Bordeaux...

100% Merlot. The fresh, intense, and perfumed aromas offer lovely red fruited notes of raspberry, cherry, currant, floral rose, and sweet wood spices. On the ripe, sunny, medium-full bodied, and lightly structured palate it has lovely balanced aroma replays, plus sandalwood notes on the flavour profile that are supported by fresh, juicy acidity and smooth, refined, and supple tannins. Dusty textured on the mid-palate, while savoury graphite, mineral nuances join the red fruited and sweet spice notes on the long, elegant, and balanced finish. Tasted Mar/2022. Score: 90+ pts

For the price it s a no Brainer. I'm drinking short term. Buy now and enjoy. Really approachable, bright, ripe fruit, some nice barrel notes. Giver.
Fine little right-banker here, Nice ripe fruit, well-dialed in oak, nothing out of place. Value proposition is high: To put some context around this, for the price of one bottle of Petrus, you can buy about 90 bottles of this Hauchat. No brainer when you put it that way, no? Tasted Dec 2023.
Out of all the vintages I've had of this wine this is the most approachable thanks to limited tannins, but the fruit is not as pronounced as the previous vintages. So that's the tradeoff.
Aromas of perfume, black cake, iron, and menthol. Juicy medium minus flavours of plum, cherry, blueberry, cedar, salt, and menthol. After two hours chocolate shows up. Approachable tannins with medium plus acidity and medium minus finish. Good value- Feb 2024
