This blend of 50% Alicante Bouschet, 30% Touriga Franca, and 20% Touriga Nacional has rich, perfumed, dense, and spicy aromatics that deliver a lovely bouquet of ripe dark and red berries, black cherry, florals, damson plum, and sweet oak spice notes. It's full-bodied and richly concentrated with lovely dark and red berry, and floral aromas replays on the slightly warming, yet balanced, palate. Juicy and elegant with gritty, refined, and structured tannins. Savoury wood notes, even a touch of mineral, linger on the long, juicy finish. Tasted Mar/2022.

Aromas of red fruit, dried herbs, gunpowder, blueberry, cassis, mint, and dried Indian spices. After some time, it had a pleasant perfume.
On the palate, the wine had flavours of violet, cherry, black fruit, red licorice, pepper, menthol, and salt. The nose was complex, but the palate was not quite as intricate; nonetheless, still a nice wine. Soft tannins with medium minus acidity. - April 2024
