Complex nose, sweet fruit juxtaposed against funky stone, earth and sky. Fulsome and fleshy palate, great acid push...
It is rare to taste such good varietal character (gooseberry, citrus, mineral) that this has, for this low price....
Average final score from judges at the 2022 National Wine Awards of Canada. Tasted blind June 2022.
A more restrained style, citrus-rich, lime and grapefruit, simple but varietally correct. Crunchy, clean. Ok. Tasted...

This wine surpassed my expectations. Aromas that hit me hard were tropical fruit with a bit of citrus. A little bit of chalk was in there too. This wine had some nice length. A refreshing acidity. I over chilled this wine after, and it lost some complexity. I would suggest drinking this between 8 to 11C. If I did not always buy a different bottle of wine, I would purchase a case of this right now. At this price, you can't go wrong.

This Ontario SB scores on complexity and length. The nose is reminiscent of a N.Z. savvy while the palate is more Loire. Intense aromas and flavours of white flower, lime, peach, gooseberry, sage and salty minerality. Juicy acidity really activates the saliva glands. My local LCBO had this discounted by 20% making it a steal, but alas only one bottle was left. But still a great value at full price. Jan 2022.
