While I dislike the label, the wine is very good.
It's ripe, round, fruity--a good example of what has made GV so popular around the world. It's a great sipping wine, much softer than most Cab Sauvignons but with more personality than most Pinot Gris/Grigios, and therefore suitable for all "white wine foods".
There's even some complexity--so despite the foolish label, it's a great house white and a strong buy, especially at this surprisingly low price.
Tasted Aug 2012. A nice change of pace for our usual white. Fresh and zesty, but with nice hint of white pepper or something. Great white for a party with cheese and other finger foods.
Simple with some crisp grapefruit, lime and minerality on the nose; light and round with a tart, pithy finish.
