What a terrific nose here for a wine in this price category - this smells like a classy Bordeaux blend, which it is,...

Really nice fruity blend with a good dollop of fresh acidity. Very pleasant. Soft tannins and drinking well now. Excellent with a rib roast dinner.
A spicy nose with aromas of green bell pepper. Nice tannins, acidity and long finish. The flavors of black fruit with a little oak. I can say, as the night progressed, I found the flavors to be a little more distinctive. I would suggest to decant.
Tasted May 2021.
Nice texture, smooth and silky. Red fruit, with noted bell pepper and herbal notes. Very notable component of oak, which, to me, robs the wine of some of its character. This is certainly a well-made wine and some will really like this - alas, I am not one. And why could they not simply keep calling this "Trius", instead of adding "The Icon" to the label? Tasted Sep 2022.
