A juicy cranberry/cherry wine along with some oak and touch of smoke. Good acidity. Soft tannins. Quite pale and has some pinot noir-like silky texture too. Tasty.
Pale, translucent red. Aged in older barrels, this Gamay has only a hint of spice from barrel. Mostly, though, this is all about tart red fruit - currants, sour cherries come to mind. Low tannin with brisk acidity, this is a fine match to light fare from the grill. For near term consumption (i.e. over the next couple of years). Chill in the fridge for 45 minutes to 1 hour before serving. Tasted June 2020.
