All the characteristics of a great Bordeaux, with a little something special, namely some Argentinian Malbec. Flinty with lots of structure, it has a surprisingly big nose of red fruits, currants and some kind of pretty mystery flower. Med finish. Ready now, will likely keep for 5 years or more.
Out of stock at 200 Pesos ($50 CDN) at the winery when we visited in February, it was on sale at Woodbridge store for $35.00. Don't race over there, though....I bought it all.
Some days the LickBo really is a benevolent dictator.
