A blend of 45% Trincadeira, 35% Aragonez, and 20% Alicante Bouchet, this offers a medium+ intensity nose that is fresh and fruity with blue and berry, garrigue, and spice characters that also appear on the full-bodied palate. Well-balanced with chalky tannins that offer a nice textural element. It has balanced acids and a long, structured and chalky finish. Tasted Aug/2019.

Bright, lively, fresh are apt descriptors on this Alentejano. A bit of cedar from the oak ageing and a wee bit of sweetness (not cloying though) round out the flavours. The finish lingers nicely. AT $14, my only annoyance is that I didn't buy more. Very nice. Tasted March 2020.
