In my limited experience this is what I think of as "classic" Cali Zin; raspberry flavours of various ripeness levels (sometimes crushed, sometimes jam, sometimes fresh). Little hint of alcohol; the little hint that adds to the complexity. The oak spice manifests as brown sugar (something I always find with zins). Finish gives a little fresh cranberry too. Medium-full body which I think is perfect. Give it a couple hours in glass for the body to manifest. Easy drinking as of Aug. 6, 2019 so I would say consume within 3 years - but I should admit I have never had zins older than 5 years!
