Blend of indigenous varietals Tinta Roriz, Trincadeira, and Tinta Barroca from a high-altitude, this has a fresh, medium+ nose of cherry, earthy, mineral and dark berry notes. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and spicy with nice aroma replays and hints of purple fruit. Fresh and vibrant on the finish, with very good length. Tasted July/2019.

A bit blunt and unpolished, but there is alot of flavour for the money. Nice punchy dark fruit, a decent (if slighly astrigent) finish, but I rather liked this. You could do alot worse for $13. Agree with David, buy a few and see how they age over the next couple of years. Tasted Aug 2019.
