Lovely off dry Niagara Riesling from a quality producer. Apple, pear, citrus and a whiff of petrol. Fresh acidity balances the fruit and RS. Food friendly and nice for sipping on its own. Very good length. A bargain, but the current sale makes this a steal. March 2021.
Pleasantly quaffable and easy-going at 10% alc.BV. Leans strnogly towards citrus, but not the petrol notes one might expect of the varietal. Some mineral flavours on the finish, and a slightly unusual vegetal quality which combines quite nicely with a well-rounded lemon flavour profile. Worth buying by the case for drop-in social events.
