Good deep colour. Quite full, but a bit rough around the edges. I didn’t get the distinctive peppery green note that I like about carmanère — there’s a hint on the nose, but this could otherwise be a malbec. Properly made, but not distinctive, which is perhaps all you have a right to expect at this price point.
