50/50 Syrah and Grenache from schist soils raised in concrete tanks, this has a fairly intense and complex black olive, blackberry, mineral, pepper spice, and herbal aromas with a touch of evergreen. It is light-to-medium bodied with smooth tannins and blackberry and currant flavours. Fairly easy drinking, with some structure and fresh acids. Long, clean finish. Tasted May/2019.

A delicious red from the Languedoc, with pepper/spice-infused red fruit, soft tannin and a good finish. Easy multiple purchase (if it is still available) at $15. Tasted NOv 2020.
