Initially closed, this wine opened up beautifully with a little decanting. Subtle fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, plum, and blackberry are supported by graphite, forest floor, dark chocolate, and oak spices. Tannins are powdered, but grippy. Medium plus acidity with body to match and very good length.
An elegant wine built for food. Blackcurrant and dried fruit, smooth and well-balanced.
