Casa Emma Chianti Classico 2007, Docg
Chianti Classico (Sangiovese)
Tuscany, Italy
$18.95 (56952)
Traditionally styled Chianti Classico, featuring a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Malvasia Nera. The wine offers aromas of cherry, plum, hint of tomato leaf and berry notes. Dry and generous with a rich berry-extract flavour. Finishes well with a good intensity. Can improve with age (2-4 years), but it’s lovely right now. Enjoy it tonight with roast leg of lamb or grilled steaks. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2009)Critic Reviews (2)
