Fort Berens Cabernet Franc Reserve 2016, Lilloet
Cabernet Franc
British Columbia, Canada
$31.99
Set on benchlands above the Fraser River in the town of Lilloet, Fort Berens is one of the most northerly vineyards in Canada, at 50.4 degrees of latitude. The original 20-acre Dry Creek Vineyard was planted in 2009, with adjacent plots planted in 2018, and more set to be planted in 2019. This Cabernet Franc Reserve is a best barrel selection with a portion made in the apassimento style from dried grapes. It is largely from estate fruit.Critic Reviews (1)
