This is a fairly soft, balanced crianza from old estate vines in Navarra, the high altitude province in the Pyrenees...
A mature, slightly weedy, stewed black fruit and fennel seed-flavoured red from Navarra. Drink now. Tasted September...

New Label design, same great wine!
Mountain vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Merlot are located around the old village of Sada, in one of the coolest and spesial parts of the vast winegrowing area of Navarra.
A medium-deep dark cherry colour with a ruby rim. Complex aromas of ripe plums, black fruit, toast and cocoa. Flavoursome on the palate with pleasant tannins and fine oak. A long, very full finish with spices coming through. Aged 9 months in French & American oak.
Can be cellared for few years or served now after good decanting with long slow cooked roasts of pork or lamb.
