Blackcurrent, pepper and wood on the nose. Concentrated fruit with an impression of a smooth sweetness despite solid acidic edge. Peppery burst at the end of and fairly lengthy finish. I like. The acid makes it nice food wine but I find it interesting enough on its own as well.
