The Lakeit family – with a half-century of farming history behind them – opened Caroline Cellars with the 2000 vintage, and their winery tasting room in the Four Mile Creek appellation two years later. Rick Lakeit Sr. makes a portfolio of great-value white and red varietal wines, award-winning fruit wines and critically acclaimed and awarded Icewine. A new, easy-drinking Momentum line of white and red blends has been added recently. The charming winery has been designed to accommodate large events and weddings, both indoors and outdoors. Enjoy the wines with a cheese plate on the patio May through October.
