What is WineAlign?

WineAlign combines reviews from multiple top critics to create ranked lists of wines in stock at your local LCBO. Quite simply, we help answer the question: “What wine should I buy?” Click here to find out more about WineAlign

I already have a WineAlign account and can’t enter my promo code

Just send an email to [email protected] with your unique promo code and WineAlign user name and we will credit your current WineAlign account.

Where’s my Promo Code?

If you have NOT received an email from us then your email address was not in the paid subscriber list provided to us by WineAccess (or it was caught by your SPAM filters). WineAccess may have sent notifications out to a few trial (non-paid) subscribers. We have set up a promo code for those of you in the free trial period: FirstInLine . Enter this when you register and you will be entitled to three free months of WineAlign premium service including our version of First-In-Line.

You have multiple critics? I only trust John Szabo!

We combine reviews from top critics to create a consensus. We feel that this actually increases the probability of finding great wines. However, if you really prefer one critic over another you can use our Palate Profiler to set different weightings for critics. You can set their influence level on your ranked scores to: High, Medium, Low or None. So if you really only like John Szabo set him to High and every other critic to None.

Your site looks very different than the First-In-Line eReport. Will I still get a PDF file?

No, you will no longer be receiving a PDF file. Instead, you will receive an email from us approximately one week before the Vintages release with John’s comments and a link to all of the wines, scores and reviews for that release. Our powerful database and filtering systems will enable you to sort and filter the list of new releases based on varietal, country or price range.

WineAlign is $40/year, this is less than First-In-Line, shouldn’t I get a credit?

Unfortunately no. WineAlign will deliver all First-In-Line subscribers additional premium service features including reviews from multiple top critics and access to our full online service. After your current First-In-Line subscription expires, you will be able to renew your subscription at the lower WineAlign rate.

I don’t see my question answered here?

Just send an email to [email protected] and we will answer your question as promptly as we can.
