John Szabo's Ontario Wine Report - 06 August, 2009
-

Welcome to Master Sommelier John Szabo’s first Ontario Wine Report for WineAlign.

In this report you’ll find my Top 50 Ontario Picks as well as some thoughts on the direction of Ontario wine, current trends in the industry, a comparison of the 2007 and 2008 vintages, as well as some other news at Peninsula Ridge and 13th Street Wineries. Note the top 50 is not comprehensive, and represents only the best wines that I have come across over the last couple of months, mostly outside of the LCBO tasting lab. There are many more great Ontario wines out there.
