Probably the best vale at $12 in the LCBO right now. Good complexity with excellent length. Lots of cassis, garrigue and rustic elements. Buy a case, it is a great everyday wine.
Unmistakeably southern France, with all the supporting flavours of garrigue and pepper. Nicely ripened red fruit, with very good balance and very little (if any) wood. Typically fine Chapoutier and a stupidly good value at about $13. You need to buy this. Tasted Jan 2017.
