This wine was a pleasant surprise, and showed a nice level of power and a good length of finish. There was significant cassis and plum mixed with a little bit of neater and mineral. Not the most elegant expression of bordeaux, but nice nonetheless.

Plummy colour with a medium+ intensity on the nose. The nose has a bouquet of wood, cedar, leather, mushrooms with aromas of dried fruit and herbs. The palate is dry with a medium+ weight and austere tannins. The finish is medium and acceptable.
