Smells and tastes like proper Burgundy, and has a good finish to boot. Red fruits, a subtle earth and smokiness, spice and peel. Light to medium bodied, discreet but good volume of fruit flavour, light scratchy tannin, a brisk and vibrant feel, and a clean finish laced with a little Campari-like bitterness. Banging Bourgogne Rouge! Score - 91. (Gary Walsh, winefront.com.au, Dec. 4, 2017)
